I don't know much about it. I missed it
It is a really hard track to figure out and when I was racing there, it was tough to beat the weekly guys like Matt Kenseth, Terry Baldry, Rod Wheeler, and JJ Smith.
Actually, not really that much ... I mean, I started running in karts when I was real young at Shawano. He's never pushed me into anything. Dad told me as long as I wanted to do this, he'd support me. But he hasn't pushed me one way or another. I love racing and want to keep doing this as long as I can.
I was able to avoid the spins that cost my teammates Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards
I love WIR ... Dad taught me it's a place where you can pass on the outside. I was there for the Red and White races this year, and it was so cool how many fans were there. We're looking forward to the Dixieland, and we're shooting for a win.
That makes a difference - when you come back to a place where you know you have had success in the past ... It boosts your confidence and changes your outlook a little, but it doesn't win races for you. We've won at MIS, and Ford has a history of winning there, and those are obviously very positive thin...
If I know Jack ... he’d be upset if we didn’t get down to business and go on with racing as hard as we can.
Hopefully, he can continue to do the flying that he does, because I know it's something that he absolutely loves
I heard about it (Tuesday) night
It's better than what we had and it's probably a little quicker
We have been consistent lately, but we haven't been consistently good enough
When NASCAR first started the common template (for Sprint Cup cars), I remember talking to people about it and there was concern about making all the cars look the same
We're getting better and hopefully the second half of the year will be strong
I hope Jack will be fine ... I hope he can continue to fly.
To come here is probably the most exciting by far because of the history with Indy and all that stuff ... If I was a race fan, it would be on my list to just come and see because it's such a historic track.
As far as what NASCAR does as far as taking the gloves off or penalties, honestly that hasn’t changed my outlook or how I race
This weekend, we are competing at one of the most historic venues in racing, and want to ensure that along with the celebration, race fans remember to stay in control, drink responsibly and always designate a driver ... I am extremely honored to work alongside Crown Royal in sending this important messa...
I don't feel like we are making gains. I feel like we're going backwards
There is hope we can make it better ... I would just like to see some better results so that I can feel better about it.
I thought we had the winning car for the first hundred laps but we made it too tight for the second hundred and Lowell (Bennett) and Dennis (Prunty) ran a great race and it was a shame to see Kyle (Busch) get a bad break. We'll get them next year.
I thought we had a really good car tonight
I know I’m probably cheering all you guys up today with my upbeat attitude, but it’s frustrating to go out at what I feel like is probably one of my best tracks, or our best tracks in the past, which is this place
We all have our different ideas and theories, or whatever, and the people that run the place don't like mine ... So we'll just keep going the way we're going and hope it gets sorted out.
If you ask me today, I don’t feel like we are making gains, I feel like we are going backwards
We all have our different ideas and theories
