It was fun ... The beginning of the race was a little bit boring — the amount of caution. Once we got going it was fun. Today, I think Marcos Ambrose and ourselves with the Dollar General car were the two fastest cars out there. But, this race always happens in the last 10 laps anyway.
Marcos Ambrose finds this win sweet after his prior sour runs at Montreal and Sonoma.

I love the Atlanta Braves
I look at Marcos Ambrose as one of the best, if not the best, road course racer out there with us
Atlanta Motor Speedway is one of the toughest mile-and-a-half tracks we go to on the Cup circuit
Marcos Ambrose here. This is nothing compared to wrestling a croc.
We had a good run there earlier this year
The car was really strong all day. We didn’t have anything for the 42 (Juan Montoya). He was on another planet. But for the others (runner-up Kurt Busch and third-place Marcos Ambrose), I felt like maybe we had something for them. It was a solid day. It was a good day in the pits. We need to build on th...
Of course, Sunday’s Nationwide race was a heartbreaker because we had the fastest car, but you have to move on and focus on what lies ahead and let go of the past
We are very happy to have Marcos Ambrose join our team ... He's a very talented and passionate driver and will be a great addition to our team.
I blinked my eyes and Tabitha has now started kindergarten ... I’m so proud of her and it was exciting watching her get ready to take on the world. It was really a special day that I will never forget. I’ve enjoyed every minute of watching Adelaide and her grow up and boy are they growing up fast.
JTG Daugherty Racing and our sponsors are obviously huge Marcos Ambrose fans and we are disappointed to see him leave after five great years of building a program together from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, to the Nationwide Series, and into the Sprint Cup Series ... Marcos is a friend, and he ...
First of all, we had the fast car there
We hit the setup pretty decent ... We pulled some pretty big gaps and adjusted the air pressures that last stint, and it seemed (Marcos Ambrose) lost something and didn’t have the push you need to win these Cup races.
I've watched him for years and he's a hero of mine. On the last lap, I had my tongue hanging out. I didn't want to know where I was stacking up, I just wanted lap times.
Obviously, Marcos Ambrose is probably the first guy that comes to mind
I think I just made the entire Canadian population mad because it would have been a great story for Jacques Villeneuve to be on pole
I learned two things there at the test ... One is that when Marcos Ambrose goes really fast through the road courses, it’s not just his race car. He’s just really fast. He got in my car and went really fast. I got in his car and went slow. He’s a good guy and a heck of a road-course racer.
Ever since I knew what racing was, I saw him come through the ranks ... The Indy 500 win he had … and, of course, the crossover to F1—I watched him with envy, wishing I could be him. Today, I think he wishes he could be me.
Having ex-F1 guys or someone like Marcos Ambrose would generate a lot of interest but again, I am very cautious about (it). If someone like Jenson Button came along and he was in Sydney having holidays and there was a competitive car for him to race, then I would support that.

Marcos Ambrose one of the most famous racers in your country.
It's great to be able to start on the pole because this place has been really tough on us
JTG Daugherty Racing is a solid race team that has come close to winning races with Marcos Ambrose and I'm looking forward to developing our new partnership in 2011 ... The team is thriving and their technical alliance with MWR (Michael Waltrip Racing) in intact. It's great to have next year already set...
