NASCAR made it clear to us this winter where the line was going to be drawn
I’m not really sure who caused the ‘Big One,’ Jeff Burton or Kurt Busch. Either way, it put an end to my run of four straight top-10 finishes. Still, the wreck shouldn’t diminish my reputation as a driver who turns it on in the summer, nor should it harm Busch and Burton’s distinction as ‘fall’ guys.
There’s an appropriate place and time to say what you feel

Jack’s a very, very, very good pilot
I had a good run down the back straightaway, but not enough on Jeff Burton ... I gave him two moves, he gave me two blocks. I lifted and got tapped from behind and got loose. That’s when the big wreck all got started. One guy checks up and everybody comes in and piles on.
Fifty grand, that's a lot of money ... It certainly would make me think (about what I say).
I hate it. Jeff Burton was the best car out there and he deserved to win it today.
The reason that we are here is because of Jack ... I don’t think people realize that everything he has built, it started from racing.
It’s good if you can follow someone who will do that. It will definitely open the door up for you if you can follow a guy like that, and Jeff Burton knows how to get through traffic, especially at this racetrack.
I understand NASCAR has fined two drivers $50,000 for criticizing NASCAR ... If that’s the case, then how much will Helio Castroneves be fined for his outburst after being stripped of the win in the Honda Indy Edmonton race? It wouldn’t be an understatement at all to say he lost it. Normally, Helio is a...
You take a 25-year-old driver and it is NASCAR racing to them, but you take a Jeff Burton or myself or whatever and you might think that, 'Whew, this is different,'

Didn't have the grip I thought we would ... Just not as good as we thought, but we did OK. Not great, but OK. We had a solid day, we need to do better. But if that is going to be a bad day, that's good.
I think it’s clear to everybody that short of maybe intentionally wrecking somebody several times, everybody knows if you want to knock somebody out of the way — you can do that
I don't think it's changed a whole lot
Maybe it has something to do with the team peaking at the right time ... I think sometimes when you have an off weekend and you come back, I think the best teams come to the top. I know it sounds ridiculous, but this is such a long season. You get into the grind of it, a week off sometimes you lose focu...
Richard Childress Racing has done an awesome job of getting us good equipment ... Our engines are even stronger than last year, and we’re able to drive the cars a little more aggressively and put up good times. We’ve got better stuff yet to come, and I’m proud to be a part of this.
We were down last year and it kind of pissed us off
I think they didn’t penalize him (Edwards) enough
Granted, I'm not an aggressive driver, but what that (penalty against Edwards) told me is that you can intentionally wreck twice and get a 60-point penalty in the Nationwide, that doesn't affect anything for the big show (Sprint Cup)
I thought the penalty was less then it could have been, so that tells me they're sticking at their 'Boys have at it,'
